The truth is this poor kid will never be great,
A mistake to be poor, is now a debt on my fate,
A little poetic, regretting thoughts in my head,
Miss my dad, but these poems help me talk to the dead
Now I, fathered a son, but I'm a fatherless son,
Times father by zero, some never calling me one,
Say I'll make it work, but always working away,
Try to make time but never really heard'a today,
So I'm puffing my chest, step like I shouldn't be lieing,

Couple'a Becks, sip em' back, fast crushing my stress,
Past couple of years, fears grown on my face,
Going to graves full'a tears cause I know it's my fate,
We all die, but all try avoiding the truth,
And we all lie cause truth is a void we refuse,
A little poetic, regretting thoughts in my head,
Miss my dad, but these poems help me talk to the dead,
Light another cigar, scars'll wither away,
Live for today, but today's looking bitter and grey,
All my faith in myself but only pray a little,
Sip bitters while ashes look grey and brittle,
So I crack a smile to mask the demons I got,
Tryna cash in on truth, but never seen what it cost,
